Definitely my kinda movie. The characters are despicable. Romance Drama. German audio with English subtitles. A summer Berlin photography project becomes the grounds for an intense bonding between friends that tests the very nature of their relationship.

Summer in Berlin. Queerly Ever After is a bi-monthly column where I take a look at LGBT+ films that gave their characters a romantic happily-ever-after. I had a real sense of familiarity with the ambiguous friendship between the two main guys where the sexual tension is so palpable that you wonder when they or if they will ever cross that line.

You & I [English Subtitled] Jonas and his best friend Phillip head out on a road trip together, but their friendship starts to fray after they pick up a hitchhiker named Boris, and by the end of the summer things between Jonas and Phillip will never be the same.

This whole post-gay thing is super confusing. Jonas admitted to his friend Phillip that he basically uses his girlfriend because she's fun and has contacts that he can use for his work. Boris is a sexually ambiguous Polish drifter.
